minutesMy family loves salmon! In the summer, we grill it; in the winter, we bake it. Both methods are easy and delicious! Once you try this recipe, you’ll prefer making salmon at home over ordering it at a restaurant – it’s that good!
Ingredients
3-4 lb Salmon
Tinfoil
Butter
McCormick Lemon & Pepper Seasoning Salt
Directions
- The preparation is the same whether you’re grilling or baking the salmon. If grilling, preheat your grill; if baking, preheat your oven to 400º F.
- Line two baking sheets with large pieces of tinfoil, extending beyond the edges. If your salmon has no skin, generously butter both pieces of foil. If it has skin, butter only one.
- If skinless, place the salmon on a buttered foil. If it has skin, place it on an unbuttered foil.
- Generously sprinkle lemon pepper on the salmon.
- For grilling, transfer the tinfoil with the salmon directly onto the grill. For baking, place the sheet in the oven. Cook for about 10 minutes.
- Carefully flip the salmon onto the second buttered tinfoil-lined baking sheet. Lift off the top layer of foil, allowing the skin to peel away if attached. Sprinkle more lemon pepper on top.
- Continue grilling or baking for another 5-8 minutes, until the salmon reaches an internal temperature of 145º.
Notes
- McCormick Lemon & Pepper seasoning salt is the best. We’ve tried several other brands and don’t like them as much.
