This broccoli salad is the perfect mix of crunchy, cheesy, and bacon-y goodness, all tossed in a sweet and tangy dressing. It’s easy to make and is perfect for preparing ahead to ease the meal-time prep.

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise

  • 1/4 cup vinegar

  • 1/3 cup sugar

  • 2 bunches broccoli, wash and cut off flowerets

  • 1/2 cup red onion

  • 1/2 lb bacon cooked and crumbled

  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated

Directions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar. Let it sit while you prepare the salad.
  • Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Place in a large bowl.
  • Dice the red onion and add it to the broccoli.
  • Cook bacon until crispy, then let cool and crumble.
  • Add the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl with the broccoli and onion.
  • Pour the dressing over the salad and mixtoss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to enhance the flavors.
