Ingredients
3/4 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup vinegar
1/3 cup sugar
2 bunches broccoli, wash and cut off flowerets
1/2 cup red onion
1/2 lb bacon cooked and crumbled
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Directions
- In a small bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, and sugar. Let it sit while you prepare the salad.
- Wash and cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets. Place in a large bowl.
- Dice the red onion and add it to the broccoli.
- Cook bacon until crispy, then let cool and crumble.
- Add the crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese to the bowl with the broccoli and onion.
- Pour the dressing over the salad and mixtoss until evenly coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least an hour to enhance the flavors.
