This Alfredo is rich and creamy with a delightful garlic parmesan flavor! It comes together in no time, making it a go-to for busy nights, yet tastes so indulgent that it feels like a special treat. Quick, easy, and absolutely delicious!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 8 ounces cream cheese

  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder

  • 2 cups milk

  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese

  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper

  • Corn starch slurry to thicken if desired

Directions

  • Melt butter and cream cheese together in a medium saucepan.  Add milk a little at a time stirring until creamy.
  • Stir in pepper and garlic powder.
  • Gradually whisk in milk a little at a time until the mixture becomes smooth.
  • Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and creamy. Cook and stir for 2-3 more minutes.
  • Serve over pasta.

Notes

  • If you want the sauce more thick, make a cornstarch slurry with 1-2 tablespoons water, and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Gradually stir in to sauce and cook until sauce is thickened.
