Be sure to check the ingredients list to make sure the brand of the rice cereal is gluten free. The Kellogg’s Rice Krispies contain malt flavoring and are not gluten free. I like to use Malt-O-Meal.
Ingredients
1 (16 oz) bag of large marshmallows
1 cube butter
10 cups Rice Krispies
Directions
- Melt the marshmallows and butter either in a large bowl in the microwave or in a large pan on the stove.
- Pour in Rice Krispies and stir until combined.
- Press into a buttered baking pan. Allow to cool completely then cut into squares.
